Private Residence

A new house on a narrow corner lot in south Minneapolis is an exploration of defining the boundary between the public and the private realms of the life of the couple choosing to live this dense urban lot. Wanting to retain a sense of privacy without turning its back on the neighborhood, the house opens to the street life while providing a series of clear boundaries that help mediate between the interior of the house and the surrounding neighborhood.
